Wosado Magnetic Lashes Review with Glasses

Posted on September 24, 2025September 28, 2025 by Big J

Being east Asian with straight, short lashes, and as a glasses wearer… Wosado magnetic lashes got my attention. Now I’ve seen a bunch of different brands but decided to try this one from Wosado since it is originally created and marketed for Asians.

I got these directly from their website. It seemed to ship from Australia(?correct me if I’m wrong?) but the shipping wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It look about a week, but next time I’d try to get it off amazon since it would arrive much faster.

I got the lashes in No. 1 Silky Black II Extra. They are about $50, but comes in nice reusable portable packaging. There is a mirror and an applicator so you can take it on the go anytime. Super convenient!

Wosado Magnetic Lashes Application

The application for magnetic lashes has such a huge learning curve 🙁

So from what I know, there’s basically 2 types of magnetic lashes. Either its the kind where you apply a magnetic eyeliner, and the lashes just attach to the eyeliner, or its the (what I call) “sandwich type“.

The sandwich type has two pieces, a top and a bottom, which sandwiches your real natural lashes in between them. I didn’t want to try the eyeliner type because I don’t always put on liquid liner and when I do, i put it on kind of thick so I was unsure about how that would play out with the magnetic lashes…

As you can see from the pics above, they look okay, but that was actually after I had practiced several times. There still is a gap between the magnets and my eyelid, so the root of my lashes are exposed, but its very minimal and not too noticeable if you’re looking straight forward normally.

Magnetic Lashes Application Method

The instructions are easy enough to follow. Just load em up on the included applicator by separating the top and bottom pieces. Just make sure they are facing the right ways.

To apply, press the top part of the applicator against your eyelid above the natural lashes, going as close to the root as possible, then closing the applicator. When you close the applicator, the bottom lash will magnetize and stay with the top lash piece, creating the “lash sandwich”.

My purchase came with a free gift, I chose their “lash fixer”. Basically it helps your magnetic lashes adhere better to your real lashes, but it’s more like a primer than a glue I would say. It’s definitely not completely necessary but it helps a lot.

Magnetic Lashes Application Tip

It gets frustrating when you can’t get it close enough to the root but here’s my tip that has helped me so far: I found that if you make sure the lashes are as close to the edge of the applicator as possible, it will be closer when you apply them.

If it isn’t close to the edge, no matter how close you put the applicator to your eye, the lashes will never be close enough to the root due to the applicator putting a gap between you and the lashes.

But even with that tip, it still took a while for me to get it on and get used to it. Wosado actually says to angle it downward a bit to help get it close to the lash line, which I do that as well.

Wear test of Magnetic Lashes with Glasses on??

Ok so here’s the important part right? So the ones I got, No. 1 Silky Black, are 8-10.5mm. They touched my glasses when it was pushed all the way up. BUT, with my other pair of glasses on, it didn’t. Those don’t fully stay up all the way but even when I push it up, the lashes didn’t touch.

So it seems like 8-10.5mm lashes are the longest that I can realistically wear. For reference, I have monolids and I wear glasses all the time, no contacts.

I wore this tonight with makeup and went out with friends, about 3 hours. I think I applied it really well, it was as close as possible to the lash line. I also used the Wosado Fixer but I’m not sure if it really helps.

Anyways when it comes to the comfortability, it did feel itchy in certain spots throughout the night which sucked, but that’s how it is with glued on lashes, so I wouldn’t knock them for it. I didn’t do anything super crazy but it stayed in place perfectly the whole time. I drove with the window down and the wind didn’t seem to bother them at all, even though I felt nervous they’d fly off. So overall, the wear is average I would say, but I’d still prefer these since it’s way more convenient than glue.

Once I get the hang of this I think I’ll add it to my work bag so I can apply it on the go anytime. Ok anyways… hope this helps!

bye bye,
Big J
